Resident Assistant-Caregiver

• Meadow View Manor is looking for a caring and compassionate individual who takes pride in their work and enjoys working with seniors. Our Resident Assistants assist our residents with all activities of daily living. Whether it be to help a resident with a transfer or getting a resident a snack at night

• What You Will Do:
  • Assisting residents with activities of daily living- including dressing, bathing, hygiene, mobility, transferring, activities, etc. *Respond to resident needs, and emergencies in a timely and professional manner. *Observe & report changes in resident conditions, incidents, or accidents. *Assist in a variety of tasks including meal service, light housekeeping, laundry, answering phones, or any other duties as assigned.

• As a resident assistant (caregiver) in our assisted living residence, you will:
  • assist residents with personal care, meals, activities, housekeeping, and general supervision.
  • provide a safe, comfortable, and home-like environment

• Available shifts and compensation: We have multiple positions available:
  Day shift: part-time, includes every other weekend
  Night shift Awake: part-time, includes every other weekend

  Weekend Only: work every other weekend

  Casual: work one weekend a month minimum.
  

• Compensation is $14.00 - $19.00/hour depending on shift and position.

• Certified nursing assistants (CNA) and non-licensed caregivers are encouraged to apply as well. CNAs are paid at a CNA wage.
  
  On-the-job, paid training to become a caregiver (resident assistant) includes:
  • standard precautions
  • medication administration and management
  • CBRF fire safety
  • first aide and choking

  Required Qualifications
  • high school diploma or GED
  • must be at least 18 years of age
