Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Mill Operator to join our dynamic team. As a CNC Mill Operator, you will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) milling machines to produce precision parts and components according to technical drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling machines
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD designs
- Program machines using G-code or conversational programming methods
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality standards are met
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and conformance to specifications
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery or production processes as they arise
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machining or a related field preferred
- Proven experience as a CNC Mill Operator or similar role in manufacturing
- Proficiency with G-code programming and CAD/CAM software
- Strong understanding of machining principles, tools, materials, feeds/speeds
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints
- Good communication skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability lift up 50 pounds regularly during shift
- Stand/walk majority workday
- Manual dexterity required handle tools/materials
