Psychiatrist

 The Bath VA Medical Center is located in Central Steuben County, NY, at the south end of the Finger Lakes Region. Bath VAMC is a level 3 facility that provides Primary, Specialty, and Urgent Care at its main campus. Bath also is home to a Domiciliary, Community Living Center, Acute care ward, and a Short Stay Rehab program. 

Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases ($370,000 - $390,000 per year)
Paid Time Off: 44 days of paid time off per year (20 days of annual leave (including CME), 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year)
Retirement: 401K with Employer Contribution

Insurance: Federal health/vision/dental/term life/long-term care
Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory
CME: Possible $1,000 per year reimbursement (must be full-time with board certification) 

• Provide inpatient clinical services as outlined by the Alexandria VA Health Care Center.
• Provide care consistent with the national standard of care, based on the best clinical judgment, VA/VHA clinical guidelines, VA/VHA directives, pertinent VA/VHA performance measures and guidelines. 
• Shall be present on time for any scheduled clinics as documented by physical presence in the clinic at the scheduled start time. Psychiatrist shall adhere to SVAHCS service agreements between Primary Care provider and Psychiatry services. 
• Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and meetings with committee participation as required by the SVAHCS Chief of Service, Chief of Staff, or designee as necessary.
• Attend staff meetings as required by the VA HCS Chief of Service, Chief of Staff, or designee
• The contract physician(s) shall complete the appropriate QM/PI documentation pertaining to all procedures, complications, and outcome of examinations. 

• Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
• Must have current license to practice medicine in any state.
• Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration
