EES Non-Credit Transition Navigator

The Extended Education Services (EES) Non-Credit Transition Navigator facilitates potential students' journey into career skills programs, and helps students find pathways that bridge credit and non-credit courses. They offer expert guidance on navigating the job market, identifying relevant skills training, and leveraging community resources and funding. Managing students through funding applications, enrollment, and ensuring completion of certificates or degrees, they empower lifelong learning pathways. This role blends educational insight with practical career development, fostering student success by aligning academic pursuits with professional goals.


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATES and LICENSES

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (Required)

Between 2 and 5 years of related experience (Required)

Experience programming or teaching adult/youth events/classes (Required)

Minimum of 2 years of professional experience with written communication (Required)

Two + years of professional experience collaborating with a team of colleagues (Required)

This position is temporary, funded through 12/31/2027.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience using social media (Preferred)

Experience with marketing and promotion (Preferred)

Experience with vendors/contracts (Preferred)

  • (Critical) Student Support: Engages students in the educational process, supports them from application to completion. Ensures they are receiving needed resources that will supplement their learning plan. 

  • (Critical) Program Development:Supports the Work & Career Coordinator with the planning, development/acquisition and implementation of new and existing learning programs and events; designs appropriate educational formats (workshops, courses, conferences, and trainings); and recruits and schedules instructors or providers. Researches educational offerings within Prosperity Region 2 in order to support student needs and requests. 

  • (Critical) Data Collection & Analysis: Ensure learner needs are met by collecting feedback, analyzing data and making appropriate adjustments to existing offerings and by monitoring service/quality assurance for third party vendor services and contracts.

  • (Critical) Manages workflow with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and other professional software.

  • (Very Important) Workforce & Professional Certificates: Maintains relevance in the continuing education and ongoing certification arena for professions represented in NMC academic areas, local businesses, and the greater community.

  • (Very Important) Collaboration: Provides content for marketing and communications efforts and collaborates with the Promotions & Marketing Coordinator and the NoMI Attainment Collaborative to ensure success of programs and events.

  • (Very Important) Non Credit Program Support: Provides support to the Extended Education & Training team to uplift the goals of Sixty by 30 and the NoMI Attainment Collaborative.

This position is hired through a third party staffing agency EduStaff. If selected you will be required to complete the onboarding requirements of EduStaff.
