Job Overview

The National Gridiron League (NGL) is looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to support its digital marketing efforts. This role provides hands-on experience in sports media, allowing interns to create engaging content, manage social media accounts, and interact with football fans across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate is passionate about sports, social media, and content creation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing NGL and team social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube

• Create engaging graphics, videos, and written content for posts, stories, and reels

• Monitor social media trends and suggest innovative ways to enhance engagement

• Live-tweet and post updates during games, player events, and league activities

• Interact with fans by responding to comments, messages, and mentions

• Track social media analytics and compile reports on engagement, reach, and follower growth

• Collaborate with marketing and media teams to align content with league branding and initiatives

• Assist in developing promotional campaigns for games, ticket sales, merchandise, and special events

Qualifications & Skills

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Sports Management, or a related field

• Strong knowledge of social media platforms and best practices for engagement

• Experience with content creation, including graphic design (Canva, Adobe Suite) and video editing (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro) is a plus

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Passion for football and knowledge of the game is preferred

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

• Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for game coverage
