Summer Camp Supervisor Paid Internship

We are currently hiring a Summer Camp Supervisor for our Children's Performing Arts Camps. Secure your future classroom management and leadership skills today. Our Summer Camp Supervisor receives training in pedagogy and leadership skills, resulting in teachers who lead students and parents with joy and expertise, using a variety of resources and techniques. We hire candidates from the San Francisco Bay Area, including San Francisco, Daly City, San Bruno, Oakland, Berkeley, Fremont, Hayward, Union City, Millbrae, San Mateo, Belmont, San Carlos, San Jose, Sunnyvale and Santa Clara regions.

Responsibilities:

• Support Summer Camp Teachers with classroom management, lesson planning, art and craft leadership, performance and event planning, etc.

• Support students with activity creations, student and parent check-in systems, leadership tools, and student preparation for end-of-week showcase.

• Implement quality curriculum standards and student incentives, provide students with Myriad's summer performing arts resources, preparing students for performance events at week’s end.

• Discover your joy in inspiring and motivating young musicians, dancers, and artists.

• Position hours include M-TH from 8:30am-12:30pm and Friday from 8:30am-3:30pm onsite.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree, or have already obtained a degree greater than a High School Diploma.

• Applicants can demonstrate a high level of organization and leadership.

• Applicants must reside in the San Francisco Bay Area with appropriate means of transportation, with a high regard for punctuality.

• Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. with supporting documentation. We are not able to accommodate candidates who require visa sponsorship.

• Applicants can demonstrate English language proficiency.

• Applicants with experience working with children are preferred.

Benefits / Support / Base Salary:

• Base Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour.
