MD Parker is a Home Service agency serving both seniors (i.e., 65+) and disable clients. We offer a 5 Star approach to caring and serving our clients. Seeking serious, experienced, skilled, and committed Caregivers, HHA, and CNAs. We are seeking compassionate Caregivers to provide essential care and support to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you assist.
Requirements:
- 2 YEARS of recent caregiving experience with NON-Relatives caregiving experience. --Valid driver's license and own reliable transportation
- Ability to follow established care plans and procedures
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing (general hygiene), dressing, grooming, and toileting - Laundry and light housekeeping duties -Petcare as needed
- Administer medications reminders following prescribed schedules
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and meal planning and preparation - Errand running and attend doctor appointments
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and exercises
- Follow and support care plans tailored to individual client needs
- Support individuals with dementia through understanding and empathy
Skills:
- Experience in dementia care to provide specialized support
- Proficiency in medication administration following proper protocols
- Implement behavior management strategies as directed by supervisors
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals
- Light housekeeping duties required - Run errands as needed
- Document and report any changes in senior behavior or health status to management
- Familiarity with medical systems for documentation and reporting
- Certification in first aid for immediate response to emergencies
- Capability for heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility or transfers
- Proficient in assisting with ADLs to maintain client independence
