KIDS NW Is on the lookout for exceptional Caregivers!      

Starting Wage: $22

Are you experienced in working with individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities? 

Have you provided one-on-one support to those facing:

  • Behavioral Challenges/Physical Outbursts.

  • Diagnoses such as Autism, ODD, Cerebral Palsy, Emotional Dysregulation.

  • Delegated Medical Support such as Catheter Care, G-tube, Diabetes/Insulin.

  • Assisted Living/Memory Care/Group Home experience.

Job Description includes providing the following but is not limited to: 

  • ADL Care: Personal Hygiene, Dressing, Eating, Mobility, Continence/Restroom assistance, etc.

  • Organizing and/or partaking in outings/community events with your member/family. 

  • Teaching life skills: Helping our members build confidence in their abilities, engage in meaningful activities, promote social skills, cognitive development and physical well-being.,  

  • Implement individualized care plans tailored to the unique needs of each client. 

  • Monitor and document (daily) client's progress, and changes in behavior or health.

Hours and Scheduling:

  • After school hours on weekdays. (Mon-Fri)

  • Weekends: Midday: 8/9am to 4/5pm 

  • Occasional planned care for special events outside regular hours.

  • Potential adjustments to schedules based on seasonal changes or individual needs of clients such as school breaks. 

Our ideal candidate should:

  • Have a smartphone or mobile device (required for clocking in and out) 

  • Be 18 years of age or older.

  • Hold CPR and First Aid certifications/Willing to obtain upon hire at employee cost.

  • 1+ years of experience as a: Care provider, teacher's aide, support staff, behavior management, or similar. 

  • Be legally eligible to work in the United States.

  • Understand the importance of confidentiality.

  • Be able to pass a background check.

  • Our members may require transportation, so to ensure their safety you will be asked to present a valid driver's license and current auto insurance upon hire.
