Manufacturing Engineer

Engineering Manager to be responsible for:

Overview entire technical site of the division with hands-on experience in precision high speed metal stamping and insert molding tooling and process. 3D Solid Work Design experience a plus. Overview the design of progressive dies, Manufacturing Engineering Team for New Programs Introduction and Continuous Improvement, Molding Design and Service,Support technically stamping and insert molding operations including maintenance. Multitasking, creative, and analytical based of fact acting individual. Automotive customers experience a plus.

Essential Functions:

1. Review and assure manufacturing process of tooling, equipment, suppliers and automation in a team environment and timely manner.

2. Conduct design of experiment process for assurance of molding process parameters with full cooperation with other departments.

3. Work very close with QE, QA, and Program Manager in APQP review process and creation of some documents (DFM, DFMSA, Control Plan PFMEA, Defect Catalog, Equipment Validation, Work Instruction, etc.)

4. Evaluate manufacturing process on key projects using Lean Manufacturing practices.

5. Testing equipment for process improvement and new projects.

6. Hands on equipment building process within the budget and established schedule.

7. Conduct equipment validation process with master samples and documentation.

8. Be accountable for your projects and assigned startup programs execution and success in conjunction with other project teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $85,000 per year
