We are currently seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter and Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in installing and repairing piping systems, as well as performing precise welding tasks to ensure the highest quality of workmanship.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to comprehend work specifications.
- Measure, cut, thread, and assemble new pipe, placing the assembled pipe in hangers or other supports.
- Utilize a variety of hand tools and machinery to modify pipes to desired shapes and sizes.
- Test piping systems for leaks by increasing pressure in pipes and observing gauges for indications of failure.
- Perform welding tasks using various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, stick welding or other methods based on project requirements.
- Inspect completed welds to ascertain they are free of defects, conform to standards, and are compatible with system pressures.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a pipe fitter/welder with familiarity with industrial piping systems.
- Strong understanding of local plumbing codes and regulations.
- Proficiency with welding equipment and technique selection appropriate for different jobs.
- Knowledgeable about safety protocols related to both pipefitting and welding operations.
