Company Overview:
Flips started as a very small gymnastics center in Frederick in 2009 we have since enjoyed sharing our passion for gymnastics and our desire for fun with children all over the Frederick area. We currently have 3 facilities, partner with Frederick Infants and Toddlers Program, partner with Frederick County Parks and Recreation offering gymnastics at multiple schools, are a licensed Youth Camp facility and soon to be licensed for childcare offering before and after school. We are growth minded and are looking for our next team member who shares this mindset and will assist in paving the way to our next endeavor.
Job Description:

Flips is searching for compassionate, fun loving and organized individuals with a passion for children and the capacity to show the truest definition of Leadership. We are seeking permanent, full-time applicants for our ever-growing business. The ideal candidate will be quick to learn with some experience teaching children and knowledge and or experience in gymnastics and or tumbling experience. They should be eager to assist in the daily managerial duties of Flips. This is a management position - not an instructor position. We are looking for flexible availability on weekdays and weekends. Managing or Leadership experience preferred.
- Manage and direct the activities of staff members across various departments ensuring alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
- Develop strategic plans for staff development including training initiatives to enhance skills and performance.
- Act as a liaison between upper management and employees by handling questions, interpreting operational policies, resolving work-related problems.
- Oversee recruitment processes for new hires including interviewing candidates alongside gym directors.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team; encourage feedback from staff members on process improvements or innovation opportunities.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations providing constructive feedback while setting clear expectations for future growth within their roles.
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations concerning employment practices.
Qualifications:
• Associate degree. A Bachelors s degree is preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in HR practices with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong leadership qualities coupled with excellent communication skills both verbal & written.
• Proven ability to develop strategies aligned toward improvement of workforce productivity & satisfaction levels.
• Exceptional organizational skills with an aptitude towards decision-making based on analytical assessments.
• Proficient understanding of labor legislation & HR best practices.
