Japanese Equities Sr Analyst/subPM

Global hedge fund seeks accomplished mid/senior level Fundamental Equities Analyst to participate in fund's investment management activities, as the firm expands in Japanese market.

We will consider either buy or sell side candidates with strong hands-on equities fundamental analysis expertise, either in the context of Capital Markets or conducting Nikkei alpha research.

Experience in analysis of fundamental or event-driven investments strategies, and/or Capital Markets, including public financing, private placements, structured equity, equity linked-note corporate financing for Japanese listed companies is sought. Fluency in Japanese is strongly preferred.

Although at this time we offer remote/hybrid work setting, there is a preference for candidate residing in Japan/ideally in Greater Tokyo area.

This is a rare opportunity with highly collaborative, reputable, very stable multi-billion/multi-strategy fund - Great upside, as the fund trades all global markets, it plans to find a beach head in Japan to build around.
