Lead Cable Technician

Brief overview of the job:

Work as project lead to install cable in the telecommunication field. Communicate with a team as well as project managers on the daily project specifics.

• Prior verified experience within the cabling industry

What you will do:

• Pulling, installing, and terminating Cat 5e, Cat 6, Cat 6a, and Fiber

• Working from a ladder or lift to install cabling, APs, cameras, and card access

• Work directly with Project Managers to efficiently complete projects, and meet or exceed project time line goals.

• Communicate well with Project Mangers and the team.

• Must be willing to travel out of town to do installs

• On occasion 2nd shift and out of town work will be required

• Use strategic thinking and problem-solving skills when facing project issues

• Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on product and industry changes

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma is preferred

• BICSI Certification is a plus but not required

• 5+ years of Verified Prior experience in the cable technician field

Job Type:

• Full-time

Salary:

• This is an hourly position with available overtime

• Pay range: $24-$30 per hour
