Base pay $19.53/hour + additional compensation for higher education and/or years of experience in the field.

Day shift: 7am - 3pm, Monday - Friday
As a DSP at Devereux, you will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. You will assist in the planning and implementation of residential unit services for assigned clients. Responsible for the safety and security of all clients in assigned units. You will also provide therapeutic interventions as necessary.
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health – Massachusetts, Avalon House, is located off the main campus inTempleton, MA and serves disabled adults to teach, coach and support them with daily living skills, coping skills and social skills while staying active and having fun.
You will add value by :
Maintaining a safe and therapeutic treatment environment that meets the physical, emotional, and personal needs of program clients while improving functioning and minimizing interfering behaviors.
Providing client documentation to include shift reports, incident reports, and individual progress notes.

Qualifications
Job Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age or older
Valid Drivers License
High School diploma or GED, required . Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or Special Education preferred.
Previous experience preferred (not required) working with individuals under 21 with psychological, emotional and behavioral disorders, complex post-traumatic stress disorder, co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders, and/or autism spectrum disorders.
Must be MAPS certified or able to obtain within 90 days of employment
Orientation: 2 weeks, Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm in Rutland, MA
After orientation, this position will work from the group home in Templeton, MA M-F from 7am-3pm
