Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is one of the largest and most advanced behavioral healthcare organizations in the country. Devereux California is a therapeutic behavioral health treatment facility offering residential services, community living, day programs, and clinical services for adults with multiple diagnoses, including autistic spectrum disorders, emotional and/or behavioral differences, intellectual and developmental disabilities, dementia and other cognitive disorders.
Devereux Advanced Behaviroral Health Tularosa is a three-bed enhanced behavioral supports home in a community-based setting. This home serves individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders who also have moderate to severe behavioral challenges and/or significant deficits in adaptive skills. Tularosa’s program aims to provide person-centered services to individuals with autism that will support each individual in becoming a productive, socially connected, and personally fulfilled member of his or her local community.
Residents receive on-site behavior analysis services, medical case management, medication monitoring, independent living skills training and community inclusion activities.
Staff foster a home-like environment that motivates each individual toward independence, while providing a highly structured behavioral setting with 24-hour supervision
Conduct appropriate assessments (including functional behavioral assessments)
Develop, implement and monitor behavioral support plans of assigned individuals
Serve as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team providing care and appropriate treatment to the ages and populations served
Instruct staff, family members, and/or legal guardian/conservators’ on how to implement a behavior support plan using face-to-face instruction, role modeling and coaching
Ensure that proper documentation is completed, and provide supervision to Behavior Specialists

Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavioral Analysis or related field. BCBA certification required
Experience:
A minimum of two years of experience designing and implementing behavior modification intervention services is required.
Must have strong applied behavior analysis skills and significant experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorders-2 years minimum
Significant experience writing Positive Behavior support plans and conducting FBA’s- 2 years minimum
Training staff preferred
Requires excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient computer skills and mastery of Microsoft Office applications.
Valid driver’s license must be maintained.
