About the Role:
- Uphold ethical standards in line with Daimler AG Policies and Compliance Guidelines, including Anti-Bribery and competition law.
- Lead and guide the shared services team in reconciling accounts payable transactions and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure accurate process and system information flow, liaising with shared services, IT, and other providers to address AP-related issues.
- Manage the Fixed Assets register and coordinate with the Chief Accounting Officer on Right-of-use assets to maintain accurate book values.
- Conduct training sessions for new joiners on our finance system Fiori and act as a single point of contact for invoicing, purchase requests, and accounts payable queries.
- Oversee the Intercompany process, reconciling variances, approving invoices, and posting accruals to ensure accurate reconciliation.
- Fulfill legal reporting requirements to avoid fines and protect the brand’s reputation.
- Assist in decisions regarding liquidity, currency risks, and financial feasibility to enhance business profitability.
- Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, query variances, and collate commentary for management approval.
- Ensure internal control processes meet audit and compliance requirements.
- Develop back-up knowledge of Accounts Receivables topics to support team members during absences.

Qualifications
Key Skills and Experience:
- A university degree in Finance, Accounting or related fields and looking to/ pursuing a professional finance qualification
- Proven experience in Accounts Payables processes with both operational and conceptual understanding.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, PowerBI, and presentations.
- SAP experience and familiarity with multiple IT systems are beneficial.
- Experience working with a shared service centre is advantageous.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to provide credible information and draw sound conclusions.
- Excellent prioritization and deadline management abilities.
- Strong commitment to continuous improvement and problem-solving.
- Effective communication skills.
