As part of our great team here in Daimler Trucks, we have an exciting opportunity for a Bid Management and Bodybuilder Support Executive. Based at our brand-new offices at Willen Lake, Milton Keynes, you will strategically lead and manage the tender identification and compilation process, ensuring dealer support. This role involves overseeing external Body Builder relationships, ensuring reliable systems flow, and driving organisational growth through effective program management and compliance initiatives.
This role requires the tendering process supporting the dealer network and internal colleagues to secure vehicle sales via official tendering platforms including the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) framework. You will ensure Dealers and Internal Sales Teams are continuously informed of open opportunities, provide comprehensive support for tender submissions, including the preparation and provision of necessary information, and lead the Due Diligence process, conducting comprehensive financial and risk-based assessments to safeguard the business. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks, ensuring robust protection for the organisation.
Create and present face-to-face training programs for the dealer network on the identification and submission of tenders, empower dealers with the expertise needed to open new sales opportunities, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
Coordinate and conduct onsite audit validation meetings with Bodybuilders to ensure compliance with One-Invoice Business requirements, upload audit reports, and maintain the Bodybuilder portal reporting requirements, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
Also, you will be responsible for the UK market European Body Builder (EBB) Programme, ensuring seamless communication and documentation flow among all parties, manage the end-to-end process of EBB and OIB (One Invoice Business) Bodybuilder contract creation and reviews, ensuring compliance throughout the contract term.
Qualifications
About you
- Experience in the Commercial Vehicle Sector to ideally include Order Process Management
- Able to communicate with all levels of Management
- Good understanding of Quality Management processes
- Good numeracy, literacy, and communication skills
- Focus, enthusiasm, and attention to detail are essential
- Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- The ability to present information in a logical, coherent and commercial manner is essential
