Contribution Margin Planning & Reporting Team Within the Finance department, the Contribution Margin Planning & Reporting Team provides transparency about financial performance of markets and products. Our team supports business partners and top-management in taking the right business decisions. To jointly achieve our targets, we work closely together with our finance colleagues (e.g. Sales Controlling, Group Controlling, Cost Controlling and Accounting) and the business functions (e.g. sales). Your Responsibilities Coordination and support in planning and execution of the monthly closing process including deviation analysis vs. forecast for the scope Contribution Margin Daimler Truck Asia, end to end from ERP system to data warehouse. Coordination and support in execution of the monthly forecasting process as well as the yearly planning process with the driver-based SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) planning tool. Lead in process mapping, standardization, improvement, and support of automation of existing processes to enable automated data flows between systems, data governance support and implementation of data quality and consistency checks. Method governance for the contribution margin planning, steering, and reporting. Conceptualization, further development and implementation of Digital Reporting solutions (e.g. based on Power BI) as well as support in preparation of regular top-management reports. Lead in business analytics, ad-hoc requests and providing relevant business steering impulses with regards to product profitability of markets, products as well as elements of contribution margin to related stakeholders and management committees. Qualifications Your Profile Degree in Business / Finance / Economics / Industrial Engineering or similar. Preferably specialization in Data Analytics and experiences with digitalization/ automation. Excellent FP&A / Financial & Controlling skills (Closing, Forecasting, Strategic Planning etc.), preferably with several years of experience as well as accounting skills. Know-how and experience with ERP systems, data warehouses (e.g. SAP BI/BW or Oracle Hyperion Essbase) and Business Intelligence solutions, know-how and experiences with driver-based planning solutions preferred. Experience with data analytics and digital reporting solutions (e.g. Power BI). Excellent MS Office know-how (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel). Excellent English skills, preferably as well know-how in Japanese language. Automation, programming skills (e.g. Python, RPA, UI Path) as well as PBI skills preferred. Strong conceptual and analytical skills. Eagerness to continuously learn. Strongly independent and empowered working style. “Can-Do” mentality. Strong team player and communication skills.
