Staff of Cost Engineering for aluminum commodity
<< Job content >>
• To create a cost calculation based on physical parts and drawings (2D, 3D model) for part and tool, by applying their knowledge of aluminum commodity/manufacturing.
• To involve actively in Design Review process with internal stakeholders and provide cost inputs.
• To conduct deep analysis for calculated result vs supplier quotation and offer consultation to internal stakeholders from commercial/technical point of view for way forward.
• To drive cost optimization activity with all stake holders and supplier.
• Directly negotiation with the supplier for part and tooling.

Qualifications

Education, certification, knowledge, job experience: Mechanical engineering is preferred. Experience in R&D, Procurement & Supply Chain is preferred.
Competency: good in communication, self-leading, and logical thinking, negation skills.
Computer skill: MS Office (Excel, PPT, Think-cell and Power BI).
Language: business level of Japanese and English.
