Mission-The mission of CBP is to promote the revitalization of neighborhoods in Stark County. CBP's current focus is on the neighborhoods of City of Canton.

Strategy -We accomplish this mission by leading and directing partnership-based, neighborhood-specific revitalization planning efforts; and by developing needed community development policies, programs, and tools that promote resident and community investment in these neighborhoods.

CBP supports community renewal through programs and services that:

  • ​Lead and facilitate community planning processes that engage residents and stakeholders to work in partnership to create and implement targeted, neighborhood renewal plans;

  • Provide financial and technical support for programs, projects, and operations to non profit organizations so they can implement these neighborhood revitalization plans; and,

  • Provide local policy support and assistance to local governments and foundations that lead to programs and tools promoting effective community development systems for Stark County.
