We are seeking a dedicated Terminal Support Specialist (m/f/d) to oversee and facilitate the efficient operation of our terminal facilities at our location in Domodossola. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks essential to maintaining quality, efficiency, and compliance within our terminal operations. Your key responsibilities include:

• Oversee the check-in/check-out procedures for trailers and ensure their proper loading onto CargoBeamer wagons.

• Conduct inspections of inbound and outbound trains, documenting movements and operations.

• Inspect, maintain, and, if necessary, repair CargoBeamer wagons and equipment to meet regulatory standards.

• Manage complaints and address Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) issues within the eLogistics system.

• Assist in optimizing terminal operations by ensuring high-quality, efficient, and timely dispatch processes.

• Support the upkeep and maintenance of terminal facilities, meeting Service Level 1 standards.

• Act as a key point of contact for inquiries, working closely with the sales team to provide accurate and timely responses.

• Ensure the implementation and adherence to weekly and monthly operational plans.

• Manage general maintenance of the railway siding and terminal area.

• Ensure compliance with local standards, statutory regulations, and internal policies, particularly in occupational health and safety, as well as environmental protection.

• Operationally manage terminal operators (both internal and external) at the ground level.

You should have

• Completion of technical training, along with several years of relevant professional experience.

• Basic knowledge of business administration.

• Possession of a PDT - A Shunting Driver certificate.

• Solid understanding of rail shunting dynamics, both within and outside railway junctions.

• Familiarity with railway equipment and its routine maintenance procedures.

• Forklift driver's licence and proficiency in forklift maneuvering.

• Preferred: Experience in rail traffic management or a background in rail/transport operations.

• Strong focus on health and safety, ensuring the smooth and secure operation of terminal activities.

• Hands-on approach with the ability to adapt flexibly to operational demands.

• Proficiency in English and Italian.

I tuoi compiti

Stiamo cercando un/a dedicato/a Terminal Support Specialist (m/f/d) per supervisionare e facilitare il funzionamento efficiente delle nostre strutture terminali presso la nostra sede di Domodossola. In questo ruolo, sarai responsabile di vari compiti essenziali per mantenere la qualità, l'efficienza e la conformità delle operazioni del terminal. Le tue principali responsabilità includono:

• Supervisionare le procedure di check-in/check-out dei rimorchi e garantire il corretto carico sui carri CargoBeamer.

• Eseguire ispezioni dei treni in arrivo e in partenza, documentando i movimenti e le operazioni.

• Ispezionare, mantenere e, se necessario, riparare i carri CargoBeamer e le attrezzature per rispettare gli standard normativi.

• Gestire i reclami e affrontare le questioni relative al Costo della Bassa Qualità (COPQ) nel sistema eLogistics.

• Contribuire all'ottimizzazione delle operazioni del terminal garantendo processi di spedizione di alta qualità, efficienti e tempestivi.

• Supportare la manutenzione e la gestione delle strutture terminali, assicurando il rispetto degli standard di Service Level 1.

• Agire come punto di riferimento per le richieste di informazioni, collaborando strettamente con il team di vendita per fornire risposte precise e tempestive.

• Garantire l'implementazione e il rispetto dei piani operativi settimanali e mensili.

• Gestire la manutenzione generale del raccordo ferroviario e dell'area terminale.

• Assicurare la conformità agli standard locali, alle normative statutarie e alle politiche interne, in particolare in materia di salute e sicurezza sul lavoro e protezione ambientale.

• Gestire operativamente gli operatori del terminal (interni ed esterni) a livello operativo.

Il tuo profilo

• Completamento di un percorso di formazione tecnica, insieme a diversi anni di esperienza professionale pertinente.

• Conoscenza di base dell'amministrazione aziendale.

• Possesso del certificato PDT - A Shunting Driver.

• Solida comprensione delle dinamiche di manovra ferroviaria, sia all'interno che all'esterno dei nodi ferroviari.

• Familiarità con le attrezzature ferroviarie e le loro procedure di manutenzione ordinaria.

• Patentino per la guida di carrelli elevatori e abilità nel loro utilizzo.

• Preferibile: Esperienza nella gestione del traffico ferroviario o background nel settore ferroviario/trasporti.

• Forte attenzione alla salute e sicurezza, garantendo il funzionamento regolare e sicuro delle attività del terminal.

• Approccio pratico, con capacità di adattarsi in modo flessibile alle esigenze operative.Competenza in inglese e italiano.
