The Auto Parts Outside Sales Representative is responsible for generating business, fostering and sustaining relationships, and resolving issues with key, target, and potential customer accounts for designated Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts stores. This role includes making scheduled sales calls as directed by the store manager and sales manager, supporting overall store operations and profitability, and promoting sales programs along with other customer-centric activities. The primary focus is on aftermarket automotive replacement parts but may also encompass heavy-duty parts, auto paint supplies, industrial paint products, body shop supplies, and equipment. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver outstanding customer service by identifying inventory needs of customers offering solutions for their issues while effectively handling dissatisfied clients.
- Research product availability via computer systems or catalogs checking stock numbers inventory status pricing.
- Manage dealer inventory tasks such as checking in organizing or rearranging stock.
- Conduct visits to current customers' businesses or prospects’ workplaces.
- Handle financial transactions including cash credit properly invoicing/crediting accounts maintaining ledger balances assisting in collecting receivables alongside Store Manager.
- Maintain an up-to-date list/schedule of customer calls providing weekly sales call reports to the Sales Manager Store Manager District Manager
- Engage daily in face-to-face communication with the Store Manager
- Perform any additional duties as needed or requested
