**Auto Parts Store Manager**

The Auto Parts Store Manager is responsible for the sales outcomes and financial success of the store, managing staff at a Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts retail location. Duties include overseeing procurement, budgeting, accounting, and human resources management along with supervisory responsibilities. The Auto Parts Store Manager also engages in direct over-the-counter sales to customers, processes orders both in-person and over the phone, and contributes to the overall prosperity of store operations through promotional activities and other customer-focused team efforts.

**Key Responsibilities Include:**

- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Supervise staff involved in sales activities, inventory control, cash handling or providing services.
- Oversee sales operations ensuring customer satisfaction; this may involve contacting or visiting customers based on business needs or directives from your District Manager.
- Develop new sales accounts through cold calling and visiting potential clients.
- Boost store profitability by introducing existing customers to new products and promotions.
- Maintain detailed call logs as required by the District Manager.
- Accurately manage inventory levels by restocking when necessary.
- Guide staff in handling complex sales situations effectively.
- Assign specific tasks to employees appropriately.
- Hire, train, evaluate store personnel; manage promotions or disciplinary actions when necessary including termination if required
- Ensure prompt responses to requests while adhering strictly to company policies
- Operate within all federal state,and local legal guidelines applicable to store management functions
- Perform subordinate work activities such as cleaning/organizing displays/shelves & selling items
- Participate actively in virtual/in-person meetings & training sessions
- Handle additional duties as assigned
