In-House Caregiver for Nathaniel

Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate, responsible, and reliable in-house caregiver for our son Nathaniel, who thrives in a structured and supportive environment. The caregiver will ensure Nathaniel’s well-being, follow a consistent daily routine, and engage in age-appropriate activities to foster his development.

Responsibilities:

• Daily Routine Management: Implement and maintain Nathaniel’s established routine, including meals, hygiene, playtime, and naps.

• Childcare: Provide attentive care, ensuring Nathaniel’s safety and well-being at all times.

• Engaging Activities: Plan and facilitate educational and recreational activities that promote physical, emotional, and intellectual development.

• Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to Nathaniel’s preferences and dietary needs.

• School Preparation (if applicable): Support preparation for school, including helping with activities that build readiness skills (e.g., following instructions, practicing social interactions).

• Household Assistance: Perform light housekeeping tasks related to childcare, such as tidying play areas, washing Nathaniel’s dishes, and laundering his clothes.

• Effective Communication: Collaborate with parents regarding Nathaniel’s daily activities, progress, and any concerns.

Requirements:

• Previous experience caring for children, especially toddlers.

• Patience, warmth, and understanding to support Nathaniel’s needs.

• Ability to adhere to and maintain Nathaniel’s routines.

• Trustworthy and reliable with strong references.

• Basic first aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

• Flexibility to adapt to family schedules, especially given the caregiver will support the family's unique work shifts.

Work Schedule:

The position requires flexibility to accommodate the caregiver’s schedule to match parents’ shifts (2 day shifts, 2 night shifts, followed by 5 days off). Specific hours to be discussed based on mutual agreement.
