Journeyman Roofer

Battle Born Roofing, a reputable roofing company based in Carson City, NV, is seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Roofer to join our team and lead a crew. As the crew leader, you will play a crucial role in leading a team of roofers to ensure the successful completion of roofing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and re-roofing roofing systems.

• Lead a crew of roofers by providing guidance, direction, and support throughout the project.

• Ensure safety, quality, and teamwork on all projects.

•  Train and mentor junior roofers, ensuring adherence to company standards and best practices.

• Coordinate with other crews and departments to ensure efficient project execution.

• Maintain accurate records of materials used, hours worked, and project progress.

• Comply with all safety regulations and company policies.

•  Maintain a clean and organized job site.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Roofer

•  Proven ability to lead and manage a team of roofers effectively

• In-depth knowledge of various roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights

• Safety-conscious mindset and adherence to safety regulations

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Requirements:

• OSHA 30 certification (Must be willing to complete OSHA-30 safety training which we will provide.)

• Strong communication skills (English required)

• Five years of roofing experience is preferred

• Provide own tools (compressor, nail gun, hose, etc.)

• Reliable transportation

• Ability to install different types of roofing systems such as: asphalt shingle, metal, low slope.
