Finance Head

We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Finance Head to lead and shape our finance function. As the key finance partner to our Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will oversee all financial activities, from budgeting and reporting to driving strategic decision-making. You will lead a diverse team, manage cross-functional relationships, and navigate complex decisions to help the company scale and thrive. This is not a purely strategic role—you will be deeply involved in the day-to-day operations, ensuring financial clarity, supporting business decisions, and driving performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the finance team, overseeing both direct and indirect reports to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Take ownership of the budgeting process, financial forecasting, and business planning in close partnership with key stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and drive informed business decisions.
  • Ensure robust financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls are in place to maintain accuracy and transparency.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations, balancing competing priorities while fostering collaboration across departments.
  • Apply strong analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and make recommendations that support business objectives.
  • Lead the team through complex decisions, including financial modeling and scenario analysis, with an ability to manage the political landscape within the organization.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: 13-15 years of comprehensive finance experience with a solid background in accounting, budgeting, and business partnering.
  • Leadership: Hands-on leader with a proven ability to lead teams and manage diverse personalities in a dynamic environment.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication skills to convey complex financial data in a clear and compelling way to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Stakeholder Management: Skilled at managing relationships with senior executives and navigating organizational politics to drive results.
  • Decision-Making: Ability to make complex, high-stakes decisions with a balance of strategic thinking and operational understanding.
  • Analytical Acumen: Strong financial analysis and reporting capabilities, with a deep understanding of how to leverage data for decision support.
