Cath Lab Nurse Unit Manager

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• 7 years of experience in the same Field and 3 years’ experience in same position as Head nurse cath lab
• Master’s degree in nursing Holder
• Dataflow is a must.
• Saudi license holder is a plus.
• Fluent in English.

Job description and responsibilities

• Ensure nursing staff attendance and punctuality, in accordance with hospital policy
• Providing high-level nursing service in accordance with hospital policy.
• Evaluate and measure the patient’s vital signs, including the ECG and the condition of the peripheral blood vessels, before and after cardiac catheterization.
• Receive, coordinate and follow up on physician orders prior to catheterization.
• Ensure completion of cardiac catheterization checklist (consent verification), laboratory tests, and required patient examination, to ensure high quality of cardiac care and efficient services.
• Oversee the efficient use of cardiac catheterization laboratory equipment and materials, by completing routine safety checks.
• Maintain unit records on clinical and other data and submit reports.
•  Assessment of special learning needs, pre-catheterization teaching specialty in cooperation with the Education Department.
• Conduct a probation and annual performance evaluation for all employees in cooperation with the nursing education team.
• Assist in strategic planning by providing special input into resource planning.
