Financial Analyst - on site - Bucharest

Our client, a company operating in the agricultural production sector, is seeking a:

                                                        Financial Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Actively participating in the budgeting and financial planning process—preparing the income and expense budget for the current year and presenting it.
• Monitoring and verifying the CAPEX of investment and restructuring projects related to activities and/or costs.
• Analyzing and presenting budget execution (budgeted vs. forecasted vs. actual) with conclusions and strategic recommendations for correcting deviations.
• Actively contributing to the company’s strategy development, including identifying growth opportunities within and outside the industry.
• Maintaining relationships with banking partners or outsourced service providers.
• Preparing financial reports and presentations for the management team and stakeholders, offering relevant analyses and commentary.
• Collaborating closely with other departments to ensure the integrity and consistency of financial data.
• Creating short- or long-term financial forecasts as required and updating financial projections.
• Conducting cost-benefit analyses for various investment projects and/or reorganizations of activities and/or costs.
• Comparing offers for material investments and/or complex services.
• Performing analyses for approving and/or extending commercial relationships.
• Ensuring the smooth execution of contracts with various suppliers.
• Directly participating in the company’s operational processes.
• Verifying necessary documentation in relationships with suppliers and/or clients of the company.

Candidate Profile:

• Higher education in economics, finance-accounting, or a similar discipline.
• Conversational proficiency in English.
• Experience with Office Suite (Excel advanced level).
• Advanced skills in budgeting and forecasting.
• Excellent skills in analyzing and interpreting financial data with attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts and research findings.
• Team spirit and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
