Accountant & Senior Accountant | Tech Company

Location: Bucharest
Work style: Full on-site (with flexible hours)

Responsibilities:

• Record invoices for goods and services, issue invoices, process re-invoicing, manage fixed assets, and oversee payments and collections according to bank statements; assist in account reconciliation, periodic reporting, and periodic inventory audits.
• Complete accounting records such as journal entries, tax registers, and inventory registers.
• Reconcile account statements with suppliers and clients.
• Ensure the company's compliance with tax and regulatory obligations, including preparing and filing tax forms (D100, D101, D300, D394, D390, SAF-T, etc.).
• Assist in preparing and submitting periodic and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with tax and accounting regulations in daily activities.
• Prepare and provide necessary documents and information for statutory audits or other control activities.
• Support the update of accounting policies and procedures; identify and propose process improvements to maintain compliance with accounting standards and legal requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with other departments across the company.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or Audit.
• (Accountant) Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
• (Senior Accountant) Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
• In-depth knowledge of accounting and tax legislation.
• Proficiency in using accounting software.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• English nice to have
