Project Manager (end-to-end construction/maintenance of mid/large size Retail Stores)

Our Client is one of the largest fashion companies in Europe with more than 25 years of history, a presence in 39 countries, and over 2.000 stores. For their exponentially growing operations in Greece, they are looking for a ‘Project Manager’.

Your Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate the full process of negotiating, designing, specifying technical requirements, bid analysis, and constructing new retail stores across Greece.

• Manage the investment workflow, ensuring all activities align with the established timelines and budget requirements.

• Conduct technical evaluations of buildings, including inspections, report preparation, and managing the handover from property owners.

• Facilitate the design process, working closely with all involved parties such as property owners, internal and external architects, and consultants specializing in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic engineering, as well as project contractors.

• Handle the licensing and approval procedures in coordination with local authorities.

• Identify and build strong relationships with local construction firms.

• Supervise renovation and restructuring activities, ensuring compliance with project documentation, corporate standards, and Greek legal regulations.

• Oversee the transfer of new stores to the Regional Sales Management team, maintaining communication to address any technical issues that arise during the opening phase.

• Provide ongoing support for store maintenance and repair activities, including construction, electrical, and equipment upkeep.

• Plan budgets and analyze data to support investment and operational decisions.

Your Profile:

• Strong academic background, preferably in Mechanical/Civil Engineering, or Architecture.

• Several years of experience in similar responsibilities and experience in construction projects, preferably in Shopping Centers or Retail Chains.

• Very strong English skills.
