Engineering Manager

Requirement:

• Strong programming knowledge in or  Java or Python or Golang or similar.
• Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Working knowledge of designing, development, coding, testing, debugging and implementing technical projects for the fabrication, modification and evaluation of new or existing software solutions or products

• Proficient with commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the Software Engineering field.

• Proficient in designing and developing requirements from specifications, oral instructions, or preliminary sketches.

• Agile software development and DevOps skills preferred.

• Ability to facilitate organizational transformation to support business strategy.

• Demonstrated ability to drive ownership and accountability in delivering quality products on time to customers.

• Ability to develop and implement test methods and procedures.

• Ability to work in a diverse, fast paced, ever changing environment.

• Demonstrated leadership, people and team building skills. Ability to effectively resolve staff issues as they arise.

• Excellent written and verbal skills with proactive attitude.

• Ability to effectively communicate between several departments within the global organization.

• Proven ability to direct and coordinate staff in developing solutions to technical problems that require extensive investigation and clarification.

• Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s).

• Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.

Qualification:

• 4 year degree, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, or other Technical Degree.

• 12+ years of Software Development experience.

• 2+ years supervisory, team lead, or project leader experience.

• 4+ years of proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS experience is preferred)
• Experience in On-prem to Cloud migration preferred.
