Key Responsibilities
- Exhibiting strong analytical and problem-solving skills, to deliver high quality solutions to clients
- Working closely with Front/Middle/Back Office, Operations and Finance business users and be responsible for gathering, documenting, and delivering requirements and use cases through to user acceptance and implementation
- Partnering with business users you will work as part of a diverse project team and be recognised as an Endur expert.
Key Skills:
- Should have a strong understanding of the energy/commodity trading business - Oil, Gas, Power, Commodities.
- Minimum 3 years' experience of Openlink Endur, including v14 upwards is essential
- Experience in linear and non-linear instruments in a Commodity Trading environment
- Self-starter with a proven delivery track record in analysis, design and configuration
- Strong experience of physical and financial gas, power, emissions and coal trading, valuation and PnL.
- Exposure to and understanding of the full trade lifecycle allied with strong knowledge of the system business processes
- Understanding of several commodity/asset classes and implementation across multiple Openlink clients
- Proficient in all phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Bug Life Cycle, and methodologies such as Waterfall, V-model and Agile.
- Skilled in preparing Test Cases, Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM), and Test Plans.
- Conducted Smoke, Sanity, Regression, System Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in accordance with Test Plan activities for Web-based, Client-Server, and Desktop applications.
- Experienced in using Defect Management and Bug Reporting tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps and HP-QC.
- Familiar with Trading Explorer, Reference Explorer, Report Builder, Market Manager, Operations, Services Manager, Credit, Settlements & Accounting, APM and Document Centre
- Experienced in managing End of Day (EOD) workflows. Analysis of Risk and PnL reports
- Ability to understand test case preparation, design documents, execution and test report generation
- Work experience or knowledge of test automation tools will be beneficial.
- Understanding of software implementation and testing principles
