Location: Bucharest, Romania (Full on-site, with a flexible schedule)About the Company: Our client is a renowned global company in the agricultural sector, specializing in developing and producing high-quality hybrid seeds.Department Overview: The Senior Financial Accountant will report directly to the CFO and be an individual contributor to the finance team. The CFO has extensive experience in the agribusiness sector and is recognized for fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting activities, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and Fixed Assets (FA).
• Ensure compliance with fiscal policies and maintain internal control standards.
• Perform accurate book closures in SAP ERP within required timelines.
• Conduct Intercompany (ICO) reconciliations and monthly trial balance reconciliations.
• Prepare VAT reports and assist in preparing statutory financial statements, group consolidation packs, and budgeting.
• Oversee credit control, manage credit insurance matters, and collaborate with the commercial team on collections.
• Reconcile monthly inventory in coordination with the supply chain team.
• Provide support during internal and external audits.
• Contribute to the digital transformation of finance processes, driving efficiency and innovation.

Candidate Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in accounting, with strong knowledge of GL, AR, AP, and financial reporting. Familiarity with balance sheets and profit and loss accounts.
• ERP Knowledge: Experience with SAP ERP or an equivalent system is highly preferred.
• Skills:
  • Solid understanding of local accounting principles and regulations.
  • Excellent English communication skills and time management abilities.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, and working collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Compensation & Benefits Package:

• Salary: ~6.500 - 7.000 RON NET/month
• Bonus: 13th salary
