Sales Engineer (Bucharest)/ Field Sales Engineer – Power & Electrical Components

Job Location: Bucharest, covering Bucharest and Ilfov CountyType of Role: Full-time, 70% on the road, 30% in the officeSchedule: Monday to Thursday: 08:00-17:00; Friday: 08:00-15:00Work type: Work-from-the-car approach (3/4 days on the road, 1/2 day in the office)Job Summary: We are seeking a Sales Engineer with a strong background in low-voltage electrical components. The ideal candidate will have a combination of 'hunter' and 'farmer' mentality, responsible for new business development and maintaining relationships with existing clients. This role involves travel within Bucharest and Ilfov County, meeting quarterly sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage communication and relationships with assigned clients
• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
• Prepare offers and ensure seamless communication between clients and customer service teams regarding order status
• Handle administrative tasks and reporting related to sales performance
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure collective success

Mandatory Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in electrical components
• Knowledge of the low-voltage electrotechnical components market
• Fluency in English
• Category B driver’s license
• Strong communication skills and a results-driven mindset
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in both new business development and key account management
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Proactive and able to identify opportunities for business growth

Department Structure:

• 8 colleagues in the sales department
• Reporting to the Sales Manager

Compensation & Benefits:

• Median salary: 9.500 RON net - 3,250 EUR gross
• Annual bonus based on KPI performance (discussed after the trial period)
