Actuary Specialist

Our client is a leading service provider with more than 100 offices globally and supports organizations by delivering quality value to their business. Be part of their Actuary team which provides a range of business advice to a variety of clients from small, fast-growing clients to large entities. As an Actuary Specialist you will consult clients such as insurers, banks, regulators, and third-party administrators and analyze the impact of new regulations on the clients’ business.

Main responsibilities:

• Participate in delivery of regulatory engagements with focus on insurance reserves
• Develop and maintain actuarial models to support clients’ business needs
• Perform actuarial valuations, financial projections, and insurance risk assessments
• Participate in actuarial implementation projects and regulatory reviews
• Analyze and interpret statistical data
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards

Desired experience, skills and qualifications:

• 2+ years of relevant experience in the insurance industry and insurance risk management
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, or a related field.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and execution skills
• Self-aware capabilities and willingness for improvement
• Take responsibility for assigned work
• Fluency in both English and Bulgarian (both oral and written)
