(Senior) Sustainability Specialist

Our client is a leading service provider with more than 100 offices globally, supporting organizations by delivering quality value to their businesses. As a (Senior) SustainabilitySpecialist, you will be part of our client's ESG team, which is committed to sustainability and transforming how businesses operate. You will be able to make an impact and help clients develop their ESG strategies across various sectors, taking an essential role in projects related to sustainability analysis, regulatory compliance, reporting, and strategic development.

Main responsibilities:

• Work closely with clients to create sustainable value through innovative ESG initiatives and strategies
• Develop comprehensive and insightful ESG reports for clients
• Conduct thorough assessments to ensure clients meet relevant ESG regulations and standards
• Support client in performing materiality assessments to identify and prioritize the most significant ESG issues
• Assist in designing and implementing robust frameworks to identify, assess, and manage ESG-related risks
• Analyze ESG data to identify trends, measure performance, and support decision-making processes
• Evaluate ESG performance, identify gaps, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement
• Develop and implement effective ESG strategies and processes tailored to clients' needs
• Conduct ESG readiness assessments to prepare clients for future challenges and opportunities
• Perform ESG due diligence to assess potential risks and opportunities in mergers, acquisitions, and investments

Desired experience, skills and qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in ESG consulting, sustainability reporting or a related ESG field
• Good knowledge of sustainability reporting standards and regulations
• Very good analytical, summarizing and problem-solving skills
• Project management skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent English and Bulgarian language skills (both written and spoken)
• University degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business or equivalent
