Deputy Manager / Manager - Purchase

We are looking for someone who could lead purchase for motors plant.

The person must have 9 to 15 years of experience in direct purchase including mechanical, sheet metal, plastic, castings.

Will independently take care of all matters related to purchase for motor plant, reporting functionally to corporate Purchase Head.

Must have thorough experience of costing, negotiating and ensure availability of material timely.

Must have hands on expertise on SAP and MIS related to function.

Location: Manesar.

Job Description:

• Developed tooling and part development for Motor, Charger, Controller and BSS for 3W and 2W e-vehicles.
• Consistently met or exceeded annual performance targets set by senior leadership.
• Led cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and deliver high-quality results.
• Finalizations of capex for motor plant with new technologies for manufacturing of EV motors.
• Reduced costs, optimized resource allocation, and improved efficiency through benchmarking and new idea in collaboration with R&D to achieve Chinese product pricing.
• Improved team performance by providing comprehensive training on ZBC working mechanism and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Managed budgets effectively, achieving financial objectives while maintaining strict control over expenditures.
• Identified cost improvement changes and cost savings plans to increase company savings.
• Digitization through OptiVMS for vendor onboarding, supplier ratings and e- auction of propriety parts.
• Consolidated vendors and renegotiated contracts to optimize costs.
• Implemented innovative solutions to overcome challenges of inflation and deflation management in direct sourcing for all types of EV motors, leading to enhanced productivity levels.
