Section Chief (Bottling Line)

We are seeking a skilled Section Chief to manage and oversee the bottling section of our production facility. The ideal candidate must have experience working with bottling lines (SIDEL, KRONES, or similar) and possess strong leadership skills to ensure the efficient operation of the section. This role involves supervising day-to-day activities, ensuring smooth production processes, and maintaining high-quality standards within the bottling line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the daily operations of the bottling section, ensuring production targets are met.
  • Oversee the operation of bottling lines (SIDEL, KRONES, or similar) and ensure minimal downtime.
  • Address and resolve any technical or operational issues related to the bottling process.
  • Lead the team in the bottling section, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring the section complies with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor product quality within the bottling section, ensuring all products meet established standards.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure the equipment is properly maintained and repaired as needed.
  • Optimize processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall production output.
  • Work closely with other departments, including quality control and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Report to the Plant Director on production performance, issues, and any improvement opportunities in the bottling section.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in managing bottling lines or a similar production environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of SIDEL, KRONES, or equivalent bottling equipment.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead a team effectively.
  • Technical skills in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to bottling line machinery.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and experience in maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Ability to monitor and improve production processes, focusing on quality and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
