Process Improvement Manager

Antal International is recruiting for its client, one of the leading players in Southeast and Central Europe, focused on the collection, treatment, and recycling of used electrical and electronic equipment:

Process Improvement Manager – based in Buzău

Responsibilities:
 

• identify methods of improving equipment use processes: flow organization, parameters, waste dismantling method
• set improvement projects and clear performance objectives (on quantities or processing costs, automation and digitization, process reduction, etc.)
• optimize the maintenance program: action plan to reduce machine downtime/data usage
• monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of operational processes, including identifying and resolving problems related to process effectiveness
• coordinate investment projects, implement and test new processes
• ensure compliance with applicable internal and external standards and rules
• review worker performance and identify training needs
• monitor productivity rates and product standards
• implement quality control programs, ensuring that health and safety requirements are met

Your profile:
 

• 3 +years in a similar position in a company with a production profile
• higher technical degree, such as mechanical engineering
• experience in factory set-ups & capacity upgrades with implementation of digitalization solutions
• expertise in coordinating and implementing projects for production efficiency, maintenance, internal logistics, etc.
• use of production-specific tools (software, methods, processes, procedures)
• holistic approach to problems and their strategic solution
• production efficiency systems (such as lean manufacturing; Six Sigma, agile & SAFe etc)
• advanced knowledge of PC operation (MS Office)
• fluent in English
• proactive, constructive attitude, based on collaboration and dialogue
• well organized and able to prioritize tasks
• constant curiosity and ability to generate creative solutions
