Regional Area Sales and Product Manager – Romania & Bulgaria – Polymers [REMOTE]

Scope of the Role:
Acquiring new customers and developing polymer-based products for various industrial applications. The key products include promoting and selling compounds such as:
Polyamide, POM, PEEK, PPS, PSU, LCP's, PBT and other polymer compounds.
For this scope the ideal candidate will be a sector expert engineer who poses great technical product development knowledge and proven customer skills, with an excellent mobility into the field, as well.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand market share and achieve revenue targets. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understand their needs, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities, assess the competitive landscape, and develop effective sales strategies. Market Expansion: Identify and evaluate opportunities to expand market presence in multicultural territories, including new customer segments, geographic regions, and industry verticals. Product Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and technological advancements in engineering materials to effectively promote and sell company products. Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare sales forecasts, track sales performance, and generate regular management reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer service to support sales efforts, address customer requirements, and optimize business processes. Budget Management: Manage sales budgets, expenses, and resources effectively. Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all sales activities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related field. Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the engineering materials or manufacturing industry. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills across cultures and languages. English, an advanced level is required. Results-oriented mindset and ability to drive initiatives from concept to execution. Analytical skills to interpret sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Knowledge of CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office suite. Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers more than 60% of the time.
