Design Engineer for HVAC Installations and Smoke Exhaust/Pressurization

Responsibilities: 

  • Integrated services of architectural design and structural engineering, facility design, technical expertise and energy audit, consolidation design, project optimization, feasibility studies, project management and implementation, consulting, and technical assistance
  • Preparation of HVAC and smoke extraction/pressurization plant designs for all design phases, meeting proposed deadlines
  • Elaboration of the technical design solution
  • Verification with the design team of the resulting quantities and coordination with the other specialties
  • Internal and beneficiary approval of the developed documentation
  • Completion within the stipulated deadlines and in accordance with the required quality level
  • Participating with the project team in the defining phases and verifying the project's compliance
  • Centralization of the documentation required for project approval.
  • Providing technical assistance at the beneficiary's location or on site, if requested
  • Verification of compliance with the project according to the legislation 
  • Proposing and implementing modern solutions and equipment in the design documentation
  • Check together with the design team the practical integrability of the projects.

Requirements: 

  • Higher education (professional faculty/university)
  • PSI certificate
  • At least 5 years of experience in the development of projects for HVAC installations and smoke removal/pressurization related to the S.F, P.T.H, D.T.A.C, D.E phases (dimensioning, drawing up calculation briefs, drawing up technical notes, specifications, preliminary measurements and lists of quantities, documentation for obtaining the urban planning certificate and the notices and agreements requested through it, etc.)
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D/3D and Microsoft Office programs
  • Knowledge of Revit or 3D detailing programs (Naviswork, MagiCAD) - an advantage
  • Willingness to travel – usually on decisive phases on the site (if applicable)
  • Driver’s licence – represents an advantage.
