Engineering Project Manager (Relocation to Italy)

Job Title: Product Line Project Manager

Location: 40% at HQ in Buttrio (Italy), 60% on-site (worldwide)

As a Product Line Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing projects from inception to completion, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and maintaining strong client relationships. Your presence will be felt not only at our headquarters in Buttrio, Italy but also on-site worldwide, where you will tackle challenges head-on and drive projects to success.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee multidisciplinary projects, working collaboratively with the sales team, from the project's initial kick-off meeting to its acceptance, in partnership with various team members. Maintain strong client relationships to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Project Setup and Monitoring:
    • Enhance the Project Macro Planning during the sales phase and closely monitor it during the execution phase.
    • Collaborate with the sales and costing teams to establish purchasing plans for plant materials (PII), external contractors for mechanical components (PIE), and suppliers for technological packages (PE).
    • Coordinate all phases of engineering, procurement, manufacturing, shipment, and site activities in conjunction with the functional Project Manager.
    • Identify potential issues proactively and in a timely manner, and actively pursue relevant solutions.
    • Be present on-site during the erection and commissioning phases to address engineering and manufacturing-related challenges, maintaining effective communication with HQ, and focusing on problem-solving and knowledge acquisition.

Technical Requirements:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Possess fluent English language skills.
  • Demonstrate experience in managing multidisciplinary projects.

  • Be willing and available to travel, with up to 60% of your time spent on-site, including the potential for continuous presence at project sites for 1-2 months at a time.
