Photovoltaics Site Manager / Project Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Photovoltaics Site Manager to oversee the construction and operation of photovoltaic systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that photovoltaic systems are installed and maintained safely and efficiently, managing the work of contractors and other personnel involved in the project, and monitoring the performance of the system to ensure that it meets the required specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the construction and operation of photovoltaic systems, ensuring that they are installed and maintained safely and efficiently
  • Manage the work of contractors and other personnel involved in the project, including scheduling and coordinating work activities, ensuring that work is completed on time and within budget, and resolving any issues that arise
  • Monitor the performance of the system and ensure that it meets the required specifications and standards
  • Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols to ensure that all work is conducted safely and in compliance with applicable regulations and standards
  • Maintain accurate records of all work activities, including project schedules, budgets, and progress reports
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that project goals are met and that all work is conducted in a timely and efficient manner
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in photovoltaic technology and industry best practices, and make recommendations for improvements to existing systems and processes 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field
  • Experience in implementing photovoltaic system design, construction, and operation
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and project managers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively
  • Knowledge of applicable safety regulations and standards, and experience developing and implementing safety procedures and protocols
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
