Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Sales Assistant to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in assisting customers, maintaining store cleanliness, and contributing to overall sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers based on their needs
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including stocking shelves and merchandising products
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with replenishment as needed
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and courteously
- Collaborate with our client's team members to achieve sales targets and promote a positive working environment
- Stay informed about current promotions, product features, and company policies
- Uphold company standards for customer service excellence and compliance with operational procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills and proficiency with computerized point-of-sale systems
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move merchandise as needed
