Role details:
- Title / Designation: Senior Technical Manager
- Reporting Manager: Global Delivery Head
- Location: Bengaluru
- Work Mode: Work-from-Office
Role & responsibilities:
- Utilize hands-on experience in Cloudera/Hadoop, Big Query, HBase, MongoDB, MySQL/SQL, and data flow pipelines.
- Apply knowledge of real-time message processing and reporting.
- Manage and govern petabytes of data efficiently.
- Track business KPIs and map them to technical KPIs for daily monitoring.
- Work closely with customer engineering and product teams to manage day-to-day activities.
- Raise and track product changes to ensure smooth operations.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of the retail business.
- Possess knowledge of accounting and finance concepts, including AP/AR, GMV, revenue, tax, TCS, and TDS.
- Lead and guide the technical team to achieve daily objectives.
- Foster a collaborative team environment and provide technical direction.
- Engage effectively with senior directors and clients.
- Exhibit excellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills.
Candidate requirements:
- 13-18 Years of Overall experience with minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in data-related technologies such as Cloudera/Hadoop, Big Query, HBase, MongoDB, MySQL/SQL, and data flow pipelines.
- Proven program management skills with the ability to track and map business and technical KPIs.
- Strong understanding of retail business processes and accounting/finance concepts.
- Experience in real-time message processing and data governance / management.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a technical team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with senior client stakeholders.
- Experience working with senior directors and executive management.
- Prior experience in handling large-scale data systems.
- Knowledge of data security and compliance standards.
