Senior Key Developer Engineer (Kafka + DevOps) - Hybrid

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain an asynchronous messaging system for efficient communication.
• Provide a top-notch SaaS messaging solution for various teams and projects.
• Support message-processing and stream-processing activities across projects.
• Enhance message and stream processing components within a Kafka-based platform.
• Manage the messaging platform as a service, assisting application teams with onboarding.
• Collaborate with product/application teams to optimize and improve legacy systems.
• Participate in on-call duties for timely issue resolution.
• Implement unit tests to ensure platform reliability and stability.

Technological Proficiency:

• Strong knowledge of Kafka.
• Background in Java (not necessarily as a developer).
• Proficient with Azure, Kubernetes, Helm charts, Docker, and Kafka (Strimzi and Confluent).
• Familiarity with Debezium, Maven, and SpringBoot.
• Experience with Oracle and PL/SQL is a plus.
• Work stack includes Azure, Kubernetes, Kafka, Helm, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Bash, ArgoCD, Docker, and Kafka Strimzi.
• Proficient in using GitHub for versioning and Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines.
• Comfortable with Linux, log aggregation tools, and the Elastic stack.
• Experience with Prometheus and Grafana for metrics monitoring.
• Familiar with Opsgenie and ServiceNow for incident handling and IT Service Management.
• Skilled in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
