Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the capital project process from inception to handover.
- Oversee term service contractors on-site and ensure project risks, costs, and timings are managed.
- Collaborate with Group Capital Projects to implement standards and continuously improve project management capabilities.
- Assist leadership in project prioritization and ensure a smooth transition from project completion to business as usual.
- Forecast resource requirements and ensure adequate staffing and skill sets.
- Conduct post-project reviews to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or Business Management.
- IPMA Level C or APM PMQ qualification or willingness to obtain.
- Experience managing large-scale capital projects in sectors such as chemicals, oil and gas, FMCG, or pharmaceuticals.
- Strong project management skills, with experience managing contractors through various stages of the project lifecycle.
