Demand Planner - Cluj

Our client is a company in the FMCG industry that has built a global reputation over several decades, offering a wide range of products under different brands, developed in advanced laboratories. Regularly, this company launches and improves a significant number of products, having considerable production capacity.

Demand Planner

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating the medium- and long-term sales planning process across all distribution channels, ensuring accurate estimates aligned with marketing activities, new product launches, and sales objectives;
• Providing the production sector with short- and long-term requirements, based on sales forecasts and available production capacities;
• Establishing safety stock levels for all products in the Farmec catalog, continuously monitoring raw materials and finished goods inventories;
• Ensuring close collaboration between sales, production, supply, and logistics teams to align objectives and strategies;
• Analyzing costs and operational efficiency, developing strategies to reduce costs and improve performance.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in companies with a turnover of €50 million and at least 300 employees, in a Sales Analysis and Financial Reporting role;
• Bachelor's degree in management or related fields;
• Solid knowledge in the production, economic sectors, and the dynamics of the FMCG market;
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced forecasting and planning tools;
• Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions to improve the supply chain's performance;
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with cross-departmental teams.
