Medical Representative - Riyadh

Job Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Aims to surpass agreed sales expectations.
  • Implements territory sales plan in accordance with regional sales strategy and supervisor approval.
  • Monitors territory’s sales performance and initiates, upon approval, corrective actions to ensure performance is in line with objectives and forecasted results.
  • Facilitates introduction of newly launched and key products to clients.
  • Performs effective territory management in relation to client targeting, frequency, message, and programs.
  • Is fully aware of market/competitors activity as to identify territory business opportunities.
  • Develops Territory Business Plan based on an agreed action plan and requests resources (e.g., call activities, budget), for optimal sales impact. Monitor territory business plan to ensure resources are directed to customers of greatest potential.
  • Participates in promotional activity programs to increase product awareness in the market.
  • Delivers presentations to doctors, practice staff, nurses and pharmacists.
  • Delivers key promotional messages within approved detail aids and in line with agreed action plan.
  • Organizes conferences for doctors and other medical staff.
  • Updates territory customer segmentation classification, database and call records continuously.
  • Builds and maintains positive working relationships with medical staff and supporting administration staff e.g., receptionists.
  • Submit Daily Coverage Reports (CRM) and Monthly reports commenting on deviations from Business Plan and intended actions to align performance with objective.
  • Keeps up to date with the latest clinical data supplied by the company and interprets, presents, and discusses this data with health professionals during presentations.
  • Initiate the appropriate sales, detailing, activities to support all market access & enlisting activities of new the existing and new products in the designated territory/ HCOs at both private and governmental sectors.

Requirements:

B.Sc. Pharmacy or other Health and Life Sciences 1 – 2 years of experience as Medical Representative (preferable in a Multinational Organization) Background in Dermatology is preferrable. PC, Windows, e-mail, Uses the Arabic and English language, both written and spoken, fluently and confidently in a broad range of complex, non-routine, work and social interactions. Communication – Uses communication techniques (oral or written) at a high level, in a broad range of non-routine situations and to a variety of audiences, taking into consideration their motivation, needs and behaviours.
