Manager-Government Affairs

Job Description:

The client is seeking an experienced and proactive Government Affairs and Project Management Specialist  with 7-8 years of Experince. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in  (PPE), public trade and partnership models, and project management. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with government officials, advocating for the benefits and necessities of dialysis, and initiating projects and tenders.

Key Responsibilities:

Government Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with government officials, healthcare regulators, and policymakers to advocate for the benefits and necessities of dialysis.

PPE Expertise: Provide expert guidance on the procurement, management, and distribution of personal protective equipment to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients and staff.

Public Trade and Partnerships: Develop and manage public trade and partnership models to enhance the reach and impact of the organisation services

Project Management: Oversee and manage projects related to government affairs and PPE, ensuring timely and successful implementation.

Advocacy and Communication: Effectively communicate the importance of dialysis and the role of the organisation in improving patient outcomes to government officials and other stakeholders.

Tender Initiation and Bidding: Initiate projects with government officials, initiate tenders, and propose bids for tenders to secure opportunities for expanding dialysis services.

Policy Development: Collaborate with internal teams to develop and propose policies that support the growth and sustainability of dialysis services.

Reporting: Prepare and present reports on government relations activities, project progress, and PPE management to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in government affairs, particularly in the healthcare sector.

Strong background in PPE model

Demonstrated experience with public trade and partnership models.

Effective project management skills with the ability to lead and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with government officials and other stakeholders.

Deep understanding of the healthcare industry and the specific needs of dialysis patients.

Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and advocate effectively for organizational goals.
